Pazzo’s at 311 Wedding Photography / Tiffany & Michael

Pazzo’s at 311 Wedding Photography was amazing. Tiffany and Michael came to us through a recommendation from relatives whose wedding we had photographed. We had been in contact for a long time, and their engagement session was postponed several times before we finally did it at the planetarium. We had no idea Tiffany and Michael were such a beautiful couple. We had a great time during the session.

DOWNTOWN GLASS ATRIUM CELEBRATIONS AND URBAN SCENOGRAPHY AT PAZZO’S 311

Skeleted by towering steel geometry and flooded with vertical illumination, capturing a reception at Pazzo’s at 311 presents a distinct canvas for multi-layered imagery. The 12,000-square-foot indoor winter garden, with its signature fountain and soaring glass ceiling, demands technical sharpness in handling ambient exposure contrasts. For Tiffany and Michael’s downtown celebration, our coverage focused on utilizing the immense architectural scale to map structural frames while catching raw, intimate human interactions in the heart of the Loop.

THE CEREMONY AND THE FIRST LOOK TOOK PLACE IN THE CHURCH

They spent a long time planning this big wedding with many guests. WS Photography documented this wedding through both photography and videography. Lot of details that we captured, starting from their preparations. They also hired one of the best wedding planning teams in Chicago ,Paris Events  which was a clear sign that this would be an incredible wedding. Michael is of Greek descent, so the church ceremony took place in a Greek St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church.  The ceremony was steeped in rich traditions. It was a poignant moment, a fusion of faith and love, and a testament to the enduring power of unity. Church weddings are always challenging to photograph, which is why we always shoot these types of weddings with two photographers. We believe that for more demanding weddings, having a second photographer is a must. We used the church courtyard to take some photos with the stained glass in the background, and they turned out beautifully. Due to the chance of rain, we did the couple and wedding party photos at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. The crew was in a great mood – which is always the case when there’s a big wedding party involved. The bridesmaids wore beautiful dresses in a green-turquoise shade. This location is a great option for on-location photography when you have a rainy wedding day but still want outdoor-style photos at an iconic Chicago spot. Just keep in mind that during the summer months, if it rains and you plan to come here, it can get very crowded with several weddings lined up for photos.

THE RECEPTION  AT PAZZO’S  CHICAGO

Following the ceremony, the festivities continued at Pazzo’s Restaurant, an exquisite venue located in the heart of Chicago. The restaurant’s elegant interior provided a perfect canvas for the celebration, with its warm ambiance and sweeping views of the city’s skyline. As photographers, we were privileged to be a part of this extraordinary day, and we are grateful for the opportunity to capture these timeless moments. The reception was organized at the Atrium. This space is huge, with over 12,000 square feet. It features a fountain and huge windows. Pazzo’s is one of the luxury wedding venues in Chicago. To the surprise of all the wedding guests, the couple made a grand entrance with live musicians accompanying them. They continued dancing on the floor, and the atmosphere was at its peak. We wou

ld like to thank Pazzo’s for featuring this wedding as one of the best that has taken place at their venue on their wedding page. May the journey of this couple be as rich and vibrant as the traditions that marked the beginning of their lifelong adventure together. Many thanks to Audrey from Paris Event for helping to make this wedding go smoothly.

GEOMETRIC FRAMING AND LOW-LIGHT INDOOR WEDDING LOGISTICS

The massive scale of the Palm Court grand atrium provides an expansive footprint for luxury event styling. From a camera standpoint, navigating an 85-foot glass roof during sunset transitions requires rapid adaptation to shifting color temperatures and backlighting. We approached the live musical entrance and high-energy dance floor by deploying strategic off-camera flash grids. This approach preserves the deep twilight hue of the Chicago skyline through the windows while crisply defining the couple and their guests moving across the floor.
