Bridgeport Art Center wedding with incredible Emily and Ramtin!

Emily and Ramtin had one of the most amazing weddings, and we feel truly proud that we were included in this perfect day! This wedding had it all. From all of their genuie friends and family sharing love, support and laughter, to the incredible venue. Bridgeport Art Center Skyline Loft isn’t your average wedding venue. It is a gorgeous space with amazing views of the Chicago skyline!

Emily was getting ready downtown where we were able to get some great shots. Ceremony was in Saint Clement church in Lincoln Park. After the ceremony we had a great time in a wedding party bus where everyone was laughing and having fun.

Their wedding holds a special place in my heart because it was our first time shooting at the Bridgeport Art Center. Since then, we’ve had the opportunity to work there many more times. You can read more about this stunning venue in a dedicated post on our journal.

Ramtin is originally from Iran, and they are devoted to a faith that is also present in the Chicago area, with their temple being the Bahá’í House of Worship. It’s often referred to as the faith of all faiths. After their Catholic ceremony, they had a small ceremony dedicated to this faith, which took place in Lincoln Park. Right after that, we continued with the photoshoot in the park.

Working with them was effortless because they are such a harmonious and beautiful couple, truly made for each other. There was no need for much direction during the posing—they naturally knew exactly what to do.

We made some really great classic Chicago wedding photos around Chicago Board of Trade and South Garden of the Art Institute.

The gallery is filled with stunning photos, and it was a real challenge for us to pick the ones for this post—but that’s always the case when we have so many great shots. There were lots of kids, plenty of smiles, and amazing energy all around.

When we arrived at the Bridgeport Art Center, it was still daylight, and this venue is truly magical when bathed in sunlight—especially the Skyline Loft, thanks to its rooftop windows. I absolutely adore the Skyline Loft for this unique and breathtaking light it offers.

Their love for each other is so obvious and we hope you can get a glimpse looking through our small selection for the blog.

Reviews from our satisfied clients mean the world to us, and Emily left a beautiful review on The Knot. Their heartfelt words brought tears to our eyes….

Working with WS Photography for our wedding was a no brainer! Photography was at the top of our list of priorities and it was the first vendor we sought out to book once we had a date and venue set. There were an overwhelming number of photographers in the Chicago and finding the perfect one wasn’t easy. Once we realized we wanted to go the more artistic candid route, we found that most photographers that did it well were extremely expensive and the cheaper options had a less than appealing portfolio. After meeting with Ana, we were able to customize a package that fit our needs and budget, WS was so flexible and accommodating. Milan and his team’s style covered every aspect of our day without being in your face or taking our attention away from the enjoying our special day. Within just days of our wedding, we received a preview of several edited photos. We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly the team was able to turn around our full album so we could share them with family and friends who were beyond impressed (as were we)!

A HUGE congratulations to the newlyweds, we were absolutely honored to be there on your wedding day!
